We do NOT own your home. You and your estate will continue to retain ownership of your home. Security One Lending does not take control of title.

Your heirs will NOT be responsible for any debt. The Reverse Mortgage is a non-recourse loan. This means that Security One Lending can only receive payment from the proceeds of the sale of the property. You can NEVER owe more than the value of the home regardless of the loan balance.

We do NOT want to sell your home. We are in the business of helping you keep your home and meet any financial needs you may have to maintain financial independence. You may remain in your home as long as you wish. However, at any time if you decide to sell your home for any reason, the outstanding balance then will need to be repaid.

You do NOT have to make any payments on your Reverse Mortgage. There are never any payments required. However, property taxes, insurance and general upkeep are the responsibility of the borrowers.
